For drop offs, reply back to your confirmation email to set up an appointment. If we do not respond within 2 business days, send us another email. Do not call us for an appointment. When you reply back to your confirmation email, it gets sent to a specific inbox that does not get any other types of emails. This helps us keep track.
NO WALK INS! We are a machine shop not a retail store. All hands are on deck working.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL FOR UPDATES, JUST SEND US A TEXT MESSAGE OR EMAIL. It wastes our time answering phone calls for updates when it can be answered through text/email.
Please do not constantly contact us for an update if the lead time has not been reached. Lastly, do not ask us for progress pictures. If we sent progress pictures to everyone that asked, we would be spending all day taking pictures.
We do not take bribes so you can cut the line & get your work done faster, so please don’t ask. It is not worth it for us to rush your work out and potentially mess something up. IF YOU HAVE TRAINING, CCW, RANGE DAY, ETC. PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
Below you will find our lead times. Lead time is when we receive your firearm, not when you place the order. THESE ARE ESTIMATES, SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
– Optic cut with no coating/bluing is roughly 1-2 weeks depending on the type of firearm being sent. Single color Cerakote can add 1-2 weeks on top of this depending on the color chosen. Graphite black Cerakote gets ran the most from all the Cerakote options. More complex slides like CZ, 1911, can take a little longer to cut depending on how busy we are.
-Slide cuts/porting 2-4 weeks. Slide cuts on non Glock firearms may take a little longer due to the complexity of cutting them. V Ports/Angled ports can take longer to do since it is done on our 5-Axis machine.
- Camo Cerakote or complex Cerakote jobs adds 2-4 weeks to the lead time.
- Full aesthetic slide cuts on Glock take 4-5 weeks minimum to cut, that does not include the time for coating. Archangel takes the longest from the options.
- If you choose no coating, there is a chance their could be marks/scratches left from the CNC fixtures grabbing onto your piece.
– PVD/DLC coating adds 2-4+ weeks to the lead time, AFTER WE ARE DONE WITH MACHINING YOUR PART. The bronze/rosegold color takes the longest since that is the least color that gets ran, so the facility has to build up the batch in order for it to be coated. We sometimes have to reject the parts if it does not meet our standards, so that means it has to get re-coated! 10-20% of the load usually has to get redone. Anyone that owns a business in this industry will agree on this, it is out of our hands since it gets sent off. You as the end consumer have not dealt with DLC/PVD the amount we do. Just because in the past you have sent it off and it got done quick, does not mean anything. We deal with many DLC/PVD vendors. If you are not willing to wait, do not choose DLC/PVD. Sometimes it could be done fast, sometimes it doesn’t. Again, every custom shop like us, sends their DLC/PVD off, no one does that in house.
-Long gun Cerakote jobs take 4+ weeks depending on the color.
-Stippling jobs 3-4+ weeks.
Do not ship us cheap knock off optics to mount on your cut!
